and save TARGET AS your name cost sheet in
F:Drive in your Language Arts Folder (ex: Susie's costsheet)
Richt Click on the Journal and save TARGET AS your name journal in F:Drive in
your Language Arts Folder (ex: Susie's journal)
Select the dates for your
travel; the day to leave and the day to return
Make plane reservations using
Southwest
Air or Travelocity. RECORD
your flights and times in your Journal, RECORD the costs on your Cost sheet. NOTE: If you get to Orlando at 11:00 PM that day is
already gone... you only have 4 days... Plan well...Record your food and
souvenir costs - don't overspend!!
NOW!! Find a hotel to stay in.
RECORD the name of the
hotel in your journal and the price for each night on your Cost Sheet. Does the
hotel provide a free breakfast? That could save you $$$
FINALLY You are on your way to
DisneyWorld. How will you get to the park? What will it cost? What
rides you take? What will you eat? How late will you stay? RECORD everything in your Journal and your COST sheet.
Don't forget SOUVENIRS... You
have $50.00 per person for souvenir shopping RECORD this on your Cost sheet
Your Goal: Your
goal is to plan a trip to DisneyWorld in Orlando Florida within the following
parameters:
You have only four days to
complete the trip
You will be traveling with 2
adults (no seniors) and 2 children; one 13 years old and one 8 years old
You will need to book airline
reservations, hotel reservations and purchase tickets
Don't forget you need to eat
too!! You will have a food allowance of $300 per day for the whole family
You will have $5,000.00 to
spend.
If you have money and time left
over after visiting DisneyWorld, you can plan additional side trips in the same
city, but you will need to document how much tickets cost. Sample destinations
include: Titanic; the experience,
Gatorland
and Ripleys Believe It OR Not Museum.
